Kick-off meeting, Zaragoza (Spain)

The starting project will have the first gathering of the Partners next Monday 14th and Yuesday 15th, at the Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain.

We are excited to announce the successful Kickoff Meeting of the ROSSCA Project (ROS-Scavenging Magnetic Nanozymes with Remote Activation for Alzheimer Disease), held on October 14th and 15th, 2024, in Zaragoza, Spain!

This two-day meeting took place at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA), where partners from different institutions came together to discuss the project's roadmap. Our ambitious goal is to develop ROS-scavenging magnetic nanozymes to address the challenges of oxidative stress in Alzheimer’s Disease through remote activation.

A big thank you to all the partners for their contributions:

  • Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain)

  • Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil)

  • Nacionalni Institut za Biologijo (Slovenia)

  • Maj Institute of Pharmacology, Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland)

This international collaboration promises exciting advancements in Alzheimer's research and the development of novel therapeutic tools using nanotechnology.

Stay tuned for future updates and milestones of the ROSSCA project as we work together to make a difference in neurodegenerative disease treatment!
